THE HOUSE SIGNATURE

General Tso’s Chicken The kitchen has had 47 years to settle on what it does best, and this is the dish it points at. If you want the sushi side instead, the Ocean Roll is the one they list as a specialty: shrimp tempura, cucumber, avocado, snow crab, eel sauce. SOURCE: Their own site calls it the most popular thing on the menu.

Wild Ginger has been feeding Wooster since 1978, which makes it older than most of the people eating in it. It has moved three times in those 47 years, from Liberty Street near JAFB, to Benden, to the Burbank Road building it has held since 2004. The kitchen runs Cantonese, Szechwan, Hunan and Thai, with a sushi bar working alongside it. Half off sushi on Tuesdays if you eat in.

A longer write-up is coming. Chad is working through these one at a time.
