Wooster Food Review runs the website at woosterfoodreview.com. This explains what we collect and why. The short version: this site runs no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, so for most visitors we collect nothing at all.

What we collect

Things you send us. If you fill in the form on the get reviewed page, we receive what you typed: your name, your restaurant, your email, your phone number if you gave one, and your message. We use it to reply to you. That is the only form on this site.

Things collected automatically. Nothing beyond ordinary web server logs. This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no session recording. There is no Google Analytics here, no Meta Pixel and no Clarity.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies of its own and shows no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

Two third parties are involved when you use particular features. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are a person rather than a bot and may set data in your browser to do it. If you press play on a video, it loads from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube may then set its own data. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. Form submissions pass through our form handler to reach our inbox. We would only disclose anything further if the law required it.

How long we keep it

Messages you send stay in our inbox for as long as we need them to reply and keep a record of the conversation.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, using the form on the get reviewed page. We do not publish an email address anywhere on this site, which keeps it out of the hands of scrapers, so the form is the way to reach us. If you are in California or the EU you may have extra rights under local law, and we will honour them.

Restaurant information on this site

Addresses, phone numbers and opening hours published here are business contact details, taken from each restaurant's own listing. If you run one of these places and want a detail corrected or removed, send it through the form and it gets handled.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. If analytics is ever added to this site, this page gets updated before it goes live, not after.
